The PDP expressed concern over the health of President Buhari

The party claimed a cabal had taken over from him

It said this would not happen in a saner clime

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised concern about the affairs of the country saying a cabal is running the country and not President Muhammadu Buhari.

This concern is coming over the fact that the president missed three federal executive council meeting in a row raising speculation about his true state of health.

The Punch reports that the National Caretaker Committee of the PDP insisted that the health of President Buhari must so bad to have prevented him from attending the federal executive council meeting.

Dayo Adeyeye who is the spokesperson of the Ahmed Makarfi-led committee of the party said this would not have happened in a saner clime.

He said: “We sympathise with the President on his health and we pray that God will lay His hands on him.

“However, it is now certain that the country in now being ruled by a cabal. Members of the cabal are not known.

“Who is in charge of the country now? We don’t know. Nigeria is now on auto pilot. We don’t know who is rocking the country and who exactly is churning out orders or exercising the executive powers of the President anymore.

“This can’t happen in saner climes. We have a President who has not been seen in public for some days and the government is not worried.”

Meanwhile, Aisha Buhari said the health of her husband is not as bad as being perceived.

And series of tweets on her official Twitter handle, Aisha Buhari, disclosed that the president’s health is not that bad. Aisha said in one of her tweets that Buhari has continued to carry out his responsibilities, and that he met with Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, and Maikanti Baru, group managing director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Tuesday, May 2.
