Acting President Yemi Osinbajo today, May 17, presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
We gathered that the meeting holding at the Council Chamber in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, started around 10am.
As at when the meeting started, a sizeable number of cabinet members were present.
Osinbajo had presided over last week’s FEC meeting as President Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria for the United Kingdom on May 7.
The presidential spokesman tweeted via his official handle that the president left for treatment in London.
The last time President Buhari traveled for his medical treatment, NAIJ.com reported that he was away for 51 days, and Vice President Osinbajo became Acting President in his stead.
