Brighton and Hove boss Chris Hughton was named the Championship manager of the year

The Blues were led to a fifth Premier League title by Conte in his first season in charge

Antonio Conte was named Premier League manager of the season after leading the by Blues to the Premier League title in his first season in charge.

The Italian was honoured by the League Managers Association at their 25th annual awards dinner on Monday night.

The Blues who finished 10th last season, were led to the Premier League title and will contest this weekend’s FA Cup final against Arsenal during his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The champions won a record 30 under Conte, including 13 in a row from Oct. 1, to finish seven points ahead of second-placed Tottenham.

Conte beat the likes of Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino, Sean Dyche of Burnley, Eddie Howe of Bournemouth, Paul Clement of Swansea and Tony Pulis of West Brom.

Chris Hughton was named Championship manager of the year after guiding Brighton to the Premier League.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder won the League One manager of the year award while Paul Cook Portmouth was named the League Two manager of the year.
