British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, on Friday, July 7, visited Senate President Bukola Saraki in his constituency, in Ilorin, Kwara state.

Arkwright was decked in the local attire of the people of the state, as the Senate President introduced him to the people of Kwara central, which Saraki represents.

Arkwright became the British High Commissioner to Nigeria in October 2015, with his deputy, Laure Beaufils, who happens to be the first female to head the UK mission in Lagos.

Meanwhile, the threat to impeach acting president Yemi Osinbajo if he fails to remove Ibrahim Magu, the chairman of the EFCC has pitched the Senate against some Nigerians as they accuse Bukola Saraki of planning to truncate the nation’s democracy.

While blasting the Senate for its decision, some of the Nigerians said the Senate does not possess such powers to direct Osinbajo, who is only acting, to remove Magu.
